"I appreciate the ability of having one law firm prepare documents based on joint instructions and avoid having both spouses having to hire separate attorneys." -ATM, Santa Clara
I want to thank you again, and everyone at Divorce Helpline who has helped me. I've been through some tough sh*t in my life, but getting divorced has been a "unique" experience that I never wish to experience again! But all of you have made a horrible time in my life, just a little less awful. You've been kind, honorable, and sensitive to my needs. You've been calming when I have felt hysterical. You've been comforting when I felt so alone and terrorized by the one person I thought would always be there for me. If I have to go through this process, then I am glad that it was in your capable and caring hands.
"Cost was reasonable; paperwork was prepared very well and explained well. Documents filed promptly. Overall, a very efficient service!" -AS, Los Angeles
"Your service felt very personal. It was a very difficult ordeal and I felt like you all were there to help me. Thank God it’s over." -ES, San Francisco
I also wanted to deeply thank you for all your help during this process. Jason and I went into the divorce very concerned in general about how the divorce process is set up as a system, knowing it's not really intended to help people amicably separate. We wanted to do it in a way where we could preserve our friendship and not create unnecessary conflict, for the sake of our ongoing relationship and as parents for our children. We also wanted to protect our financial situation so we could split fairly and not have our resources go towards fighting each other. We have witnessed well-intended couples have divorce go very, very bad as soon as any attorneys entered the process by further complicating issues or inviting conflict. In the end we saw it drain the family's finances and wreck them individually, and their children's college funds. You have been extremely helpful in providing very thorough information, very quickly and did your part in respecting our desire to create an agreement with the most amount of peace possible. You gave pros and cons to every fork in the road but left it up to me to make a decision based on my judgement and knowledge of my former spouse; you didn't impose your own opinion on the matter but instead you gave the facts and the possible outcomes and left it at that. That respect, your responsiveness and professionalism are deeply appreciated. I truly hope someday the courts find a better process so divorce can be addressed in a more productive way. In the meantime, I'm grateful to have had you and your firm's help and I hope others can benefit as well. Warmest regards and happy holidays. Holly
