NaraghiHamid Naraghi is the president of Divorce Helpline as well as partner in a family law litigation firm with offices in Northern and Southern California. Over the past 13 years, Hamid has gained extensive experience in family law litigation, mediation & collaborative divorce as well as arbitration. His combined background as a litigating attorney, mediator, arbitrator, licensed real estate broker, former police officer and licensed attorney in California and Texas provide him with a unique perspective that enables him to analyze and resolve complicated matters appropriately depending on the specific circumstances of the case.

As an attorney, Hamid has litigated complex issues before the Superior Courts of California in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County, Santa Clara County, Alameda and San Francisco.

As a Mediator, Hamid is certified, trained and experienced in mediation and arbitration and has worked to develop and expand the practice of Collaborative Family Law – a process dedicated to positive transformation of divorce, child custody & parenting disputes in America. Hamid has personally performed over 400 successful divorce mediations and has consulted with countless individuals who needed answers to complex legal questions in an easy to understand manner.

For over 13 years, Hamid has reviewed programs and worked with experts in the field of Family Law concerning Divorce, Child Custody & Family Law, conflict negotiation, mediation, relationship psychology & interpersonal communication techniques. Hamid also worked and consulted with Ed Sherman, founder of Nolo Press Publishing, on the first edition of How to Do Your Own Contested Divorce in California and with his books since then.

Although litigation is a necessary tool in some cases, Hamid believes that settlement is often overlooked as an option. Hamid’s true passion is helping people resolve issues in a civilized and compassionate manner as opposed to winning legal battles in court.
